This member of the coreopsis family produces single or double, yellow flowers that are suitable for cutting. The plant grows in most garden soils and needs a growing area in full sun. Remove the flowers as they fade to extend the blooming period. The stalks become long and weak and tend to break in windy or rainy weather. Dwarf varieties do not have this problem. Winter protection is suggested. Tickseed will self seed and become a weed. |
