Hepatica is a native wildflower. The flowers have 6 Regular Parts. They are white sometimes blue or pink. The blooms first appear in early spring and continue into late spring. Each flower stalk has a solitary flower. The flowers appear in the spring and are followed by the leaves. These woodland plants prefer a shaded location.
